Enjoying the Summer Sunshine

Well it is definitely popsicle weather. Now I know why everyone talks up South Florida winters, because the summers are blazing hot. We have been enjoying our days at the pool or anywhere offering air conditioning.

A day of trains...what more could a boy ask for?
Zac loves going to the train museum. They have several old trains that are open to run through, there is a huge a/c warehouse with low tables covered in train tracks and stocked with trains, and the best part is it's free for military.

"All aboard"

The museum does Fun Food Friday, the day we went the kids made
ice cream in one of the old trains. Zac could hardly contain himself, I definitely passed on my sweet tooth.

You can never have too much sugar.

Churning the ice cream with his buddy Mason.

Soccer Star
Zac started soccer at the YMCA this month. He was a bit apprehensive at the first practice. He held my hand and told me "he just wanted to be shy for a little while". But once he saw the other kids racing around he jumped right in. Zac loves his soccer coach. Last week she was on vacation, as soon as he found out she wasn't there he instantly lost the will to play.

We headed to Sports Authority to get the proper soccer gear.
With a new soccer ball and shin guards Z is ready to dominate.

Doing some pre-game stretching.

Little Fish
The second I mention the word swimming Zac starts bouncing excitedly around the house. Zac loves to load up the wagon and head to the pool.

Mr. Squiggles

It has been a long time since we last saw Mr. Squiggles. Zac was just a little guy the last time he played with that sprayer. Zac found Mr. Squiggles stuffed in the back of his closet and told me he thought his friend Makayla would like it since she is little.

My sweet little 1 year old Zac.

Zac and Makayla. My how fast that boy has grown.

Indoor Fun

Popcorn Anyone?

Zac and his buddy Carson waiting for the movie to start.
We just found out that the theater plays a free kids movie once a week.
You can count us in!

Time to get Crafty

Dance Party
Zac loves dancing to the song Little Dune Buggy. I guess I can understand why, it is a song about a car after all. (sorry the videos are so dark)
